Sunday Services

Latest Preaching Plan
A printable version of the current Preaching Plan is available HERE
A searchable Preaching Plan can be found on the Circuit Website here.

Sadly, once again, the country is in Lockdown as we to try to combat the spread of Covid-19. As a consequence our church is closed for worship. Most services are going ahead, either in written form, see 'Orders of Services' on right, or through Zoom. Zoom details are distributed with our Members Newsletter. For details of future Services please check out the Calendar.

Alternatively, you are invited to join the the Birmingham Methodist District for the live streaming of their Sunday morning services, on Facebook and YouTube, at 10.30am. At present they have committed to a service on the first and third Sundays of the month, but they are reviewing this in consultation with the superintendents.

They broadcast the District Service on both Facebook and Youtube. Comments will be disabled on YouTube, so if you would prefer a comment free experience then it may suit you better.

Please Note: You do not have to have a Facebook account to watch it live. You also do not have to have a Facebook account to watch the video of it after the event has ended. You just need to have the correct link, found on their website.
Under normal circumstances our main service begins at 10.30am. It helps to arrive 10-15 minutes early to get a parking spot and a seat in time for the service to start. Following the service is a time of fellowship sharing tea, coffee and biscuits.

We meet at:
Earlsdon Methodist
Albany Road

There is parking available on the site.

You can expect a warm welcome; great worship; relevant preaching based in the Word of God and a friendly group of people ready to learn more about what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

Sunday morning groups for children usually take place, subject to any changes for special services, as follows:

  •  Creche (6 months to 4 years) by arrangement. Children under 6 months are very welcome but we must ask that they be accompanied by a parent or carer at all times.
  •  Junior Church (4-11 years) held on the 1st, 3rd & any 5th Sunday of each month*
  •  Discussion Group (For those 11 years+ who are young or young in the faith) held on the 1st Sunday of each month*
  • All Age Worship (all ages!) Every 2nd & 4th Sunday in the month we all meet together in the main church for one service.

*Unless it is a communion service, all ages gather together in the main church for the start of the service at 10.30 am. Leaders & children of young people’s groups will then be invited to join their individual groups after about 15 minutes.
If you are new to the church, please make yourselves known to a church steward who will give you a warm welcome & ensure that your children are included in any groups taking place that morning.
Bring your young people along to find out more or alternatively visit our Children's Ministry and/or youth page(s).

Hello and welcome to our church. If you are a new visitor, we have a page for you to get to know us and learn more about planning a visit.

Planning your Visit

A Warm Hello

For when the church reopens.

The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Where and When

We meet at the Church Building (details below) for our Sunday Service starting at 10.30am. For your first visit, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to ensure you get a parking space and find somewhere to sit before the service begins. When you arrive, you should be greeted by someone on our Welcome Team.

Following the service we serve tea, coffee and biscuits. It is a great way to meet people, or simply take time to find your bearings. All refreshments are free.

Plan your journey:

Open Google Maps

Accessibility: There is wheelchair access, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Welcome Team know on your arrival and they will help you to get set up. There is a disabled toilet off the back of church.

Our Service

The main service begins at 10.30am, but when the music is led by our Worship Band, we have a few hymns &/or songs before the service starts. There is then a warm welcome from one of our Stewards. Church news & extra notices may also be given at this time. Our services are typically an hour long, with a mixture of hymns, prayers, bible readings and a sermon. One of our leaders will give the sermon that is bible based and that we can apply to our everyday life. We finish with a final worship song before a final prayer is said. (Sometimes there is an opportunity to receive prayer at the end of the service.)

Getting Connected

Small Groups

While Sundays are a great way to meet new people, it is often in smaller gatherings that you can really get to know someone. Being part of one of our small groups allows you to make new friends, share together and support each other. We have a variety of groups that meet throughout the week, morning, afternoons and evenings.

Our groups include:-

  • Tuesday Prayer Lunch
  • Wednesday Fellowship
  • Wednesday Word
  • Dayspring Steel Band
  • Wellspring Café
  • Prayer Shawl Ministry
Check out Small Groups and see if there’s one that you could join, or we can put you in touch with a small group leader who will be more than happy to invite you along to their group.
We hope that whoever you are, you will feel at home at our church.

Best Wishes
